Rural BPO Partner: ITC

With the support of ITC, Maitry Manch launched a BPO Center in Bihar and Jharkhand in 2019 with the purpose of providing educated rural young employment possibilities. Unemployed educated youths from the villages of Bihar and Jharkhand district would benefit from this scheme. A 30 seat rural BPO with a three-pronged approach was established in Bihar and Jharkhand.

The planning and execution of the provided training is a major factor in the BPO's success. The training Maitry Manch provides is specifically created with regard for the knowledge and education that young people from rural areas bring, as well as the demands of the rural market. The operation has the entire essential communication infrastructure, including steady internet connectivity, power backup, computer and telephone infrastructure, to carry out these tasks. Currently, rural BPO accepts both voice- and data-based tasks.
